CEBES DAY 2025 – Enjoying Technology Together

At CEBES, we organized another edition of CEBES DAY – this time in a brand-new format.
We invited 8th-grade students from four primary schools to discover the world of technology up close. They had the opportunity to take a look inside our production facilities, and together with local secondary schools, we prepared a hands-on technical workshop full of fun, measurement, and discovery.

On Friday, October 17, the second edition of CEBES DAY took place at the CEBES a.s. premises – this year in a completely new format.

We invited 8th-grade students from primary schools in Brumov-Bylnice, Valašské Klobouky, Štítná nad Vláří, and Nedašov to show them that technology can be fun, creative, and full of discoveries.

Technology Up Close and Hands-On

Our goal this year was not for the students to simply walk through the production area, but to truly experience technology — up close, with their own hands and eyes. During the tour, we prepared interactive stations directly on the production floor, where students could, for example, assemble a brush holder — one of the components our company supplies for BMW electric vehicles.

Workshop in Cooperation with Secondary Schools

The hands-on experience continued with a technical workshop organized in cooperation with the Secondary Vocational School in Slavičín and the Secondary Industrial School of Construction in Vsetín.

During the 60-minute session, students rotated through several stations where they tried out measurement techniques, explored different materials, worked with 3D printing, experimented with laser engraving, and conducted simple physics experiments. The goal was to show them that technical fields are not just about numbers and machines, but also about creativity, precision, and the joy of discovery.

A Morning Full of Inspiration

We were truly delighted by the reactions of both students and teachers — they enjoyed the day, actively took part in all activities, and left with plenty of new experiences and inspiration.

The event concluded with test drives in BMW electric cars, which are equipped with components produced by CEBES. It was a symbolic way for the students to see the results of our teams’ work in action.

A big thank you goes to the Secondary Vocational School in Slavičín and the Secondary Industrial School of Construction in Vsetín for preparing the workshop, as well as to all the students and teachers from the participating primary schools who joined the program with such enthusiasm.

Special thanks also go to our employees who helped organize the event – thanks to all of you, we are building a CEBES we can truly be proud of. 💙
