CEBES a.s. is a company with a long tradition of caring not only for its employees, but is also a responsible company in the field of environmental impact. Our company invests in modern production processes and technologies and promotes environmentally friendly solutions.

CEBES a.s. purchases materials from certified suppliers, which assures us that the materials we source do not come from conflict zones and have not been produced or processed under abusive working conditions.

We are certified to ISO 9001 quality management system, 14001 environmental management system, 45001 occupational health and safety management system and IATF 16949 automotive standard, which is why our company is evaluated annually by TÜV SÜV certification companies.

ECOLOGY

For several years we have been using electricity from our own PV power plant, which produces more than 600 MWh of electricity annually. We also invest in electromobility by purchasing electric company cars, electric forklifts and our own charging stations. We use waste heat from compressors (heat recovery) to heat hot water and baths on the galvanic line. The old fluorescent light fittings have gradually been replaced by LEDs and automatic lighting sensors have been installed in a number of locations. We are investing in the avoidance of energy losses through the overall modernisation of the buildings.

Increased attention is also being paid to waste sorting and recycling through staff training. We participate in the reuse (recycling) of metal waste that is reused in foundries, plastic waste and paper. We have our own filtration equipment to filter emulsions contaminated from production (reusability). We actively participate in the system of combined fulfilment of the obligations to take back and recover packaging waste, which is provided by EKO-KOM a.s. within the framework of the emission saving programme. Through all of the above environmental measures, CEBES a.s. is contributing to the reduction of its carbon footprint and is committed to continue to actively participate in the reduction of direct and indirect emissions that contribute negatively to climate change.

LEGISLATIVE

We ensure compliance with existing legislation such as REACH (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council) to minimise the use of harmful chemicals in our products. We also monitor the regulations under the RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU and 2015/863) to ensure that our products comply with this directive.

SAFETY

At our company, we are firmly committed to creating a healthy and safe working environment for our employees and to continuously supporting their health and performance. For this reason, we regularly conduct 45001 audits to ensure that our safety and security measures are in line with the latest standards. At the same time, we actively monitor and implement new trends in occupational health and safety (OHS) to continuously improve the level of protection for our employees.

We value every observation aimed at improving our environment, so we have introduced documents (accident reports, improvement suggestions) so that our employees can share their observations, suggestions for improvement or report any shortcomings, not only in the field of occupational health and safety.

PEOPLE

Our employees are not only the main capital of the company, but also the cornerstone of the journey to a job well done. We believe in promoting a healthy work-life balance, which is a key element in preventing stress and achieving good work results. That's why we regularly meet at events outside of our workplace to foster team spirit and get to know each other better. We participate in various sports activities organised for both adults and children, sports day, company team building and parties. These events not only give us the opportunity to relax, but also strengthen our working relationships and contribute to a positive atmosphere in the company.
