CEBES Represents Industry at the "Engineering – TOP JOB" Conference in Zlín Region

The Zlín Region’s conference on the Engineering – TOP JOB project provided a platform to evaluate the campaign’s activities to date and brought together schools, experts, and regional representatives.

On May 27, 2025, the Zlín Region held a professional conference at the training center of Slovácké strojírny in Uherský Brod, dedicated to the project Engineering – TOP JOB.

The aim of the project is to raise awareness and improve the attractiveness of technical fields – particularly mechanical engineering – among young people in the region.

The conference provided space for evaluating the project’s progress, connecting schools, experts, and regional representatives. It also promoted media outreach and specific educational initiatives focused on collaboration with schools.

Among the keynote speakers were Zlín Region Governor Radim Holiš, as well as representatives of schools and partner institutions.

CEBES a.s. was the only representative from the private sector to deliver a presentation at the event – highlighting our long-term commitment to supporting technical education and school–industry cooperation.

In his presentation, Roman Švach showcased our concrete forms of collaboration with elementary and secondary schools and emphasized the importance of linking education with real-world practice. He also highlighted the role of international initiatives such as Erasmus+, which we actively support through cooperation with long-term customers abroad.

The event confirmed that mechanical engineering has a strong foundation in the Zlín Region, and that cooperation between companies, schools, and public institutions is the key to its continued development.
