Students from SPŠS Vsetín Gained a Professional Internship in Ireland Thanks to Collaboration with CEBES
At CEBES a.s., we have a long-standing commitment to supporting technical education and connecting students with real-world practice.
That’s why, in cooperation with the Secondary Technical School of Mechanical Engineering in Vsetín (SPŠS Vsetín), we enabled a group of students to take part in a foreign internship in Ireland as part of the Erasmus+ program.
The students gained valuable hands-on experience at Associated Rewinds Ltd., one of Europe’s leading specialists in the repair and production of AC and DC traction motors for rail vehicles. The company is one of our long-standing customers – we supply them with commutators and other electromechanical components used for the modernization and refurbishment of traction motors.

Thanks to our connections and the personal commitment of our colleague Roman Švach, who accompanied the students to Ireland, these young technicians had the opportunity to experience the day-to-day operations of a European company with high technical standards. Over the course of several days, they became familiar with the company’s technical background, observed the production and repair of motors, and took part in team activities through job shadowing and practical tasks.

The students appreciated not only the professional value of the internship but also the friendly atmosphere and openness with which the team at Associated Rewinds welcomed them. We believe that experiences like these – international internships, direct contact with industry professionals, and involvement in real-world projects – are key to developing the next generation of technicians and engineers.

Our ambition is not only to educate but also to inspire the next generation of technical professionals. We sincerely thank SPŠS Vsetín for the excellent cooperation and look forward to future joint projects that connect schools with industry.
